Taking on the Traffickers ep. 1 Maria

This film was shortlisted for International Animated Series Competition and selected for screening in Oscar-qualifying ANIMATOR International Animated Film Festival (Poznan, Poland). Selected for screening in Spark Animation Festival (Canada) in 2021.

Maria was sold for sex by her partner in Mexico. Having escaped modern slavery, she’s now on a mission to become a prosecutor and help other survivors rebuild their lives.
This project is based on a true story commissioned by Thomson Reuters Foundation. It was premiered on 18 October (EU Anti-Trafficking Day) 2021.
I was the character designer, storyboard artist and the 2D animator.

Tropical Angels, a New Musical | Trailer

Based on famous Taiwanese literature 活著回來, Tropical Angels is a musical about a young Taiwanese man, who lost his soul in tropical Timor in the Pacific War, and his journey to self-discovery and redemption.
I designed the character illustrations for open casting call and further promotion of this show. In this trailer, for its English language premier, I animated the characters.
